Hello … Blossom was set to adult by yesterday which means that you need to age verify to still have access to the forest – Jaded Wings is still set to mature and open to the unverified public as well. Q: Why wasBlossom set do Adult?
A: Elven Forest has pose balls in it that allow what linden labs define adult activities..the only way elven could remain under the mature rating now is by removing them all and forbidding public nudity anywhere within elven … they are very hidden but still accessible for everyone and due to that afford setting the place to adult due to Linden Labs Adult policy. I dont like it either but dont know how to get around it without loosing half of the content here … I’m really sorry for that …. but please blame the Lindens … it really wasnt my decision. But if the sim owners do not comply with linden labs wishes they will have their sims shut down. Just remember it is not that you are not welcome here, just that LL wont let you come unless you are age verified.
Q: how do I get age verification?
A: see link above – Linden labs require a verification through either a credit card or their aristole verification system. Payment info on file or registration with xstreetsl should also work as age verification method. If you register your credit card with linden labs either directly or use xstreet aristole can be avoided – or you can use a paypal acount through the xstreet online shopping.
Q: so.. why did they set it adult now and not a month ago?
A: Until September 15th setting to adult was only enforced on mainland (Zindra) and was optional on private estates. But as of today every region in Second Life that qualifies under the adult policy needs to set to adult. This day has been comming for months there were posts and post on the community boards..there was an automated warning each time people arrived at Blossom … sim owners and shop owners don’t want to loose people..but linden labs have taken these steps for legal reasons … I waited as long as it was allowed by the Lindens, giving people several months of time to age verify.
Q: Jaded wings is adult too?
A: No, Jaded is remaining mature. I did built Jaded Wings for those who be able to access Blossom anymore … so you can still come here and meet with all your friends from the forest … Jaded wings will stay mature … and I am happily willing to pay the extra tier just to make a part of the forest still accessible for everyone …
