Wait, clarification. I hate not having a source of income (which ties into my lack of a job).
I apply and apply and apply (and then get rejected, rejected, rejected for having too much experience or too little experience). It’s the catch 22 as no one wants to pay more for someone overqualified or they don’t want to take the time to train/risk the energy with someone underqualified (or maybe they just didn’t like me as an applicant)
I shouldn’t complain, I haven’t been at this whole job hunt thing for very long and I know there are people who have gone long stretches of times sans stable income and work, but still.
Right now, I wish I could just stay in bed, watch a couple reruns of Supernatural, watch a bit of the Olympics, and then check my email to find I’ve been offered an amazing job with fabulous benefits (*sigh* and while I’m dreaming, I could also go for a huge tub of ice cream where I tone muscle and drop fat).
/end whine. Off to keep searching for a proper job…
